1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (view passage online)
Believers do not grieve for those who have died in Christ as people who have no hope. The Lord will descend from heaven, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then we who are alive will be caught up together with them. We can comfort one another with the promise of this future reunion.
