2 Peter 3:10-13 (view passage online)
God gives the inheritance by promise, not by the law. He adds the law because of transgressions to serve as a tutor until the Seed comes to bring us to Christ. Now that faith has come, all who believe become sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Peter calls believers to live in holy conduct and godliness since God will dissolve all things. Christians must work diligently to live in peace, without spot, and blameless. He commands believers to grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ while avoiding the error of the wicked.
