A good minister guards the church from false, demonic doctrines that render it ineffective. He nourishes believers with sound teaching from God’s Word, which is sufficient for all growth and godliness. This involves commanding and teaching the truth that while Jesus is the Savior of all men, salvation is received only by those who believe.
