1 Timothy 3:14-16 (view passage online)
The church is the pillar and ground of the truth, and its conduct must flow from this central purpose. At the heart of this truth is the “mystery of godliness,” which details the person and work of Jesus Christ from His incarnation to His glorification. Keeping this gospel message as the central focus of its teaching is how the church grows, remains fruitful, and fulfills its mission.
