Hebrews 2:9-18 (view passage online)
This sermon explains that Jesus, the creator, became a man for the purpose of suffering death for everyone. Through his death, he destroyed the devil’s power and freed believers from the bondage of fearing death. As a merciful and faithful high priest who has experienced temptation, he now gives aid to his people and provides access to God’s grace.
