1 Timothy 1:3-11 (view passage online)
This study charges the church to teach the pure doctrine of grace through faith for both salvation and daily living. It clarifies that the law’s purpose is to convict the unrighteous, not to serve as a rule of life for believers, who live by the Spirit. Godly edification comes from this life of faith, while teaching law to believers only causes fruitless disputes.
