This message examines Abel’s offering to show that God’s approval is obtained through faith alone. Abel’s sacrifice was more excellent than Cain’s because it was an act of faith, obeying God’s revealed will for a blood atonement. Long after his death, Abel’s life continues to testify that salvation comes by trusting in God’s prescribed sacrifice, which points to Christ.
